Overview

Reading Explorer is a six-level series that prepares learners for academic success with highly visual, motivating National Geographic content that features real people, places, and stories.
Some students enjoy taking classes with these books in preparation for the KET exam.

Goals

  1. Reading Skill Sections provide the essential reading, academic, and critical thinking skills that learners require
  2. Target Vocabulary Practice teaches the most useful words and phrases needed for academic reading
  3. Engaging National Geographic video enhances the learning experience and allows learners to apply their language skills.

Info & What You’ll Learn:

Students will continue learning, building, and re-enforcing their English knowledge.
A language and literacy course that gets students communicating in more advanced English frames while nurturing their key life competencies and human values needed to become kind, creative individuals ready to make the most of life’s opportunities.
Reading Explorer (National Geographic) Framework underpins the syllabus helping teachers focus on areas of communication and collaboration such as active listening, and awareness of the world — relevant for students of this English level.
Exciting real life stories, new vocabulary and interactive classroom competency activities introduce students to advanced English exposure.
Unit assessments and workbooks ensure checkpoints for the student and their progress.
Can be used in addition to the actual KET exam prep book to prepare students for the KET exam.
These books come to life inside the classroom via the classroom presentation tool. Thus making learning fun and interactive.
